Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers by delivering direct patient care and assisting with clinical tasks. This position may also involve managing appointment scheduling and ensuring optimal patient service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical tasks within the scope of practice as defined by the LPN license and state regulations.
  • Measure and document patients' vital signs, prepare examination rooms, and ensure equipment and supplies are sterilized according to established protocols.
  • Manage communication for physicians/providers regarding clinical inquiries, prescription renewals, test results, and other patient-related calls in line with practice guidelines.
  • Prepare patient records for consultations as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Engage in regular team meetings to clarify roles, responsibilities, processes, and address patient care issues.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.

  • Bending: 50%
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • This position requires onsite presence.

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay range: $24.04 to $32.21.
