Job Summary:
Les Schwab Tire Center is seeking a skilled Tire Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our tire installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of tires and wheels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tire Installation: Install tires and wheels on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Tire Repair and Maintenance: Repair, rotate, and inflate tires to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Wheel Installation: Attach and rebalance wheels to ensure proper fit and balance.
- TPMS Installation: Install, rebuild, and calibrate Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) to ensure accurate tire pressure readings.
- Vehicle Preparation: Wash and prepare vehicles for tire installation, including cleaning and inspecting wheels and tires.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test tires and wheels to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Automotive Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in tire installation and repair.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
