Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of healthcare management for our practice, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting primary clinical teams.
- Effectively manage scheduling, referrals, and patient demographic information.
- Conduct pre-visit planning, reviewing patient records and determining needed services in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient care services, including vital signs, medication management, and phlebotomy, within the scope of your training and certification.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vaccine temp logs and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited organization.
- Two years of experience in a similar healthcare setting, with a strong preference for customer service experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current or within 60 days of hire.
