About the Role

Aramark is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and engineering services at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Carpentry, Painting, and General Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize all work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Ensure effective execution of department strategies and initiatives to meet company and client needs
  • Responsible for all Preventative Maintenance and logging/documentation
  • Assist with budgeting and capital planning and maintain/uses capital equipment efficiently
  • Relentless commitment to safety excellence and foster a culture where every team member is empowered and supported to achieve a work environment without exposures and incidents
  • Assist with managing labor costs, supply costs, and inventories
  • Ensure compliance with all contract obligations and regulatory agency standards
  • Support the effective implementation of the comprehensive Safety Plan and drive full compliance of all safety rules, guidelines, and protocols
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requiring knowledge of Maintenance trades including MEP - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing + Carpentry, Painting, and General Maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements specific to maintenance and Fire & Life Safety
  • Healthcare and Joint Commission experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills required
