Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented Senior FP&A Analyst to support our family ownership and CFO with a wide range of strategic financial matters. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and managing assets, investments, properties, and business plans. Your ability to think creatively, act with a sense of urgency, and maintain confidentiality will be essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities- Support ownership and CFO with financial analysis and planning activities, including non-standard tasks, with a high degree of responsiveness and urgency.
- Manage bank account activity, transfers, reconciliations, and account administration for several accounts and legal entities.
- Partner with company ownership and senior leaders to make recommendations and complete actions to effectively manage assets and investments.
- Drive process improvement of current finance functions through tool implementation, process automation, and process streamlining.
- Prepare analytics and maintain monthly reporting for ownership and the organization.
- Drive and oversee forecasting and annual budgeting process with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare and oversee quarterly departmental financial reviews with leaders.
- Create and communicate current and future financial narrative to ownership and executives.
- Develop financial modeling of various business scenarios, strategic initiatives, or projects.
- Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close process.
- Directly complete tax preparation, reporting, and periodic filing for legal entities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- (5+) years of accounting and/or financial planning, reporting, and analysis experience.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing organization preferred.
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate diplomacy, tact, and professionalism.
- Sense of urgency in responding to ownership needs and priorities.
- Effective interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
