Job Summary:
Touro University New York is seeking an experienced medical educator to teach osteopathic principles and techniques to first-year medical students on our Middletown, NY campus.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging lectures and laboratory lessons on assigned topics, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of osteopathic principles and techniques.
Participate in the assessment of student performance through various examination methods, providing constructive feedback to enhance student learning.
Create a supportive learning environment, fostering open communication and addressing student needs in a timely and professional manner.
Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum, ensuring alignment with osteopathic medical education standards.
Collaborate with department chairs, directors, and deans to provide reports, budgetary information, and other documents as requested.
Provide guidance and mentorship to students, promoting their academic and professional growth.
Participate in medical student admission interviews, contributing to the selection of qualified candidates.
Qualifications:
A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree is required.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, relevant content expertise, and a passion for teaching osteopathic principles and techniques at the undergraduate medical education level.
Compensation:
Maximum Salary: USD $150.00/Hr.
Minimum Salary: USD $75.00/Hr.
