Audiology Professional

Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose, and Throat is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our audiology department, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing the hearing and vestibular needs of patients of all ages in a fast-paced ENT practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnostic Assessments: Perform adult and pediatric diagnostic assessments while providing coverage for ENT physician's clinic.
- Treatment Planning: Determine appropriate treatment plan including the fitting and dispensing of hearing instruments and assistive listening devices.
- Device Evaluation and Repair: Evaluate hearing devices, perform repairs and maintenance on devices.
- Vestibular Disorders: Examine vestibular disorders and provide appropriate treatment and/or recommendations (including evaluation/treatment of BPPV).
- Patient Counseling: Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss and treatment plans.
- Documentation: Document patient encounters in appropriate EMR system.
- Education and Training: Educate or train other medical staff on communication needs of the hearing impaired, as well as, teaching others on the topics of hearing loss.
- Audiology doctorate or Master's degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, but we will accept a strong new Au.D. graduate following completion of an externship with extensive ENT experience.
- Audiology license from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (required).
- License from North Carolina State Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board (required if appropriate).
- Certification from the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and/or certification from the American Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Association (ASHA) or Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) (recommended).

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to grow and learn throughout career.
- Maintain best practices in Audiology.
- Operate audiometer, NOAH and Microsoft office.
