Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Engineer to lead our facility and plant engineering, utilities, water, and wastewater operations at our Viskase Osceola, AR facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead capital project design reviews and manage plant capital projects and expense budgets.
  • Plan, forecast, and manage plant capital budget, ensuring budget compliance and effective management of parts, MRO/stores inventory, and labor.
  • Manage the plants energy consumption and lead energy improvement programs, ensuring a strong understanding of energy conservation and efficiency improvement.
  • Manage the operation of the plant's environmental controls, including Sulfur MACT units and Wastewater treatment, and maintain the building and grounds.
  • Provide 24/7/365 engineer support to the production departments and hire, train, and develop a strong engineering and utilities team with a robust mix of skills.
  • Ensure customer department's needs are met in a timely, efficient, and effective manner, using metrics to drive maintenance process improvement.
  • Lead with a zero injury mindset and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline with practical experience commensurate with the position.
  • 7-10 years in a plant leadership role, with experience managing a team of at least 10+ and a large, complex budget.
  • Experience with large complex manufacturing facilities that operate a 24/7/365 operation, preferably in a chemical plant environment.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance systems and processes, energy conservation, and efficiency improvement.
