About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Professor and Clinician to join our team as the Associate Chief Health Informatics Officer (ACHIO) for Ambulatory EHR. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of our ambulatory EHR strategy, driving innovation and improvement in patient care and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the ambulatory EHR strategy, aligning with the enterprise goals of Efficient and Effective Care, Growth, Experience, Financial Stewardship, and Research & Innovation.
  • Lead the Health Informatics team, overseeing the ambulatory EHR champions, Clinical Director of EHR Platform, and Medical Director of Primary Care EHR.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technology stakeholders to drive change and improvement in clinical care and operations.
  • Develop and implement intelligent automation solutions to advance clinical care, operations, and experience.
  • Ensure the ambulatory EHR program is aligned with the enterprise-wide informatics structure, supporting nursing, clinical care services, and provider informatics.
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics (ABPM) or an equivalent certification of competency in the field (AMIA AHIC certification).
  • Experience conceiving and leading enterprise-wide technology-related change initiatives.
  • Outstanding critical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and communication skills.
