As an Occupational Therapist in Home Health, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs, developing treatment plans, and providing interventions to improve patient wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide services defined by state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
- Lead patients in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
- Observe, record, and report patient response to treatment and changes to patient condition.
- Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in areas of therapy in which they can participate in assisting the patient.
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
- Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state.
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
- Bilingual is a plus.
