Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant II at Dartmouth Health, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support to our patients. Your responsibilities will include taking vital signs, administering injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, and maintaining examination rooms at our outpatient care site.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, and performing simple diagnostic tests
Collect specimens and maintain examination rooms at an outpatient care site
Assist with patient care and provide support to healthcare professionals

Requirements

Previous experience in office or outpatient ambulatory care setting strongly preferred
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required
Current BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

American Association Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified - CMA designation OR American Medical Technologists (AMT) registered – RMA designation OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant plus 12 month D-H apprenticeship program – CCMA designation
