Audit Senior Associate II

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior Associate II to join our team at Grant Thornton. As an Audit Senior Associate II, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, working closely with our experienced audit teams to identify and mitigate risks, and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and complete financial statement audits while managing budgets and performing in-charge roles as needed.
- Train and supervise audit associates and interns, providing consistent and regular feedback.
- Work with the team to design audit procedures using audit technology and innovation tools, researching accounting and auditing matters, and documenting conclusions.
- Represent Grant Thornton at recruiting and professional networking events, building relationships with clients and engagement teams.
- Develop and maintain technical and professional skills through formal training and continuous learning.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of two years of progressive public accounting experience with in-charge auditing.
- Meeting education requirements for CPA certification in the state where you are applying for employment.
- Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities, value teamwork, and be agile and adaptable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
