Staffing Proxy is seeking a skilled Hearing Instrument Specialist to join their team. This role will focus on assessing patients' hearing needs, fitting and dispensing hearing devices, and providing ongoing support and care for hearing aid users. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and consultations, explaining results and recommended treatment options to patients. Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids and other hearing instruments, ensuring they meet each patient's individual needs and preferences. Educate patients and caregivers on hearing aid maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimal usage. Provide follow-up care and adjustments as needed, creating a positive, patient-focused experience at every visit. Maintain accurate patient records and document services in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies. Requirements: Valid licensure as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in Connecticut. Proven experience in hearing instrument dispensing, fitting, and adjustments. Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to creating a warm and supportive patient experience.
