Job Summary

Trinity Health seeks a highly skilled Sterile Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective processing of medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sterilization and disinfection procedures to ensure the highest level of patient safety
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure instruments and equipment meet regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of experience in sterilization and instrumentation
  • Nationally recognized specialty certification (e.g. CSPDT)
Work Environment

As a Sterile Processing Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with frequent exposure to biohazards and hazardous materials. You must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
