Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a PRN (as-needed) nurse in our Pediatric department. As a PRN RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor and report patient condition to physicians and other healthcare team members.
  • Participate in patient and family education, including providing information about medications, treatments, and self-care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and a culture of safety.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Arkansas or a compact state.
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Experience with pediatric patients with complex medical needs.
  • Certification in a pediatric specialty, such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN).
