About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal IT Auditor to join our Corporate Audit team at Medtronic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of large and higher-risk department projects, including IT operational audits, advisory reviews, and integrated audit projects with the Finance & Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute individual work and oversee the work of others, exhibiting an awareness and ability to connect work to department and business initiatives.
  • Perform IT audit projects and integrated audits in accordance with department standard operating procedures and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
  • Collaborate with others in the Global Audit Department and across the business and IT functions.
  • Initiate meetings, prepare materials, and lead meetings with Medtronic business partners, executives, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead significant, complex, and unique audit projects through all stages of the audit process, identifying and evaluating Medtronic controls for gaps and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of work experience in audit, financial, or internal controls (Advanced Degree with 5+ years).
  • Public Accounting (preferably Big 4) experience or IT audit experience within a corporate internal audit department.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.
  • Achievement or professional certification, such as an MBA, CPA, CISA, CIA, or CISSP.
