The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in ICU and possess strong critical thinking and communication skills. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are preferred, and a Coronary Care Certificate is optional but required for SCU/CCU experience. The patient population will be diverse, ranging from 1 year to over 90 years old, with a maximum of 4 patients per shift. The RN ratio will be acuity-dependent, with a minimum of 1:3 or 4, including MS/rehab patients. Ventilation will be required for some patients, with a 1:1 ratio.
