School Psychologist Position

Portland Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation. The School Psychologist will work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning and adjustment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess student learning and adjustment needs and develop strategies to support student success.
- Provide counseling and consultation services to students, parents, and teachers.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement interventions to support student learning and adjustment.
- Conduct assessments and develop reports to inform instruction and support student learning.
- Provide professional development and training to school staff on topics related to student learning and adjustment.
Requirements
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Current School Psychology license issued by the State of Oregon.
- Experience working with students, parents, and teachers in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
