Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Developmental Pathways, Inc. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work one-on-one with children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities in their homes, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior plans in a one-to-one setting with children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Provide parent training to help families expand their child's advancement opportunities.
  • Work closely with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and their families.

Requirements:

  • RBT Certification.
  • Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass an FBI/DOJ clearance and background check.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Desire to work with young children with behavioral challenges.
  • Experience with and comfort playing with children.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Desire for continued learning opportunities and willingness to embrace instruction and feedback.
