Our organization provides dozens of psychological assessments each and every week .Psychometrists are vital to the success of our organization and to the success of our clients
HV Mental Health and Wellness Center is an innovative and rapidly growing outpatient clinic providing comprehensive psychological, psychiatric and ABA services for individuals across the lifespan.
HV Mental Health and Wellness Center believes in a multidisciplinary team approach within an outpatient office setting. Our team consists of licensed psychologists, therapists, BCBAs, psychiatric nurse practitioners, LPCs, ST, OT and PTs who collaborate regularly to offer the highest level of client care possible to ensure client success.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Administer and score psychological test batteries evaluating cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, behavioral, and emotional status to assist Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Neurologists, and other medical professionals in treatment decisions.
- Score tests administered, including objective tests administered by Psychologist.
- Place scores into charts to assist the psychologist in writing the report.
- Adapt the administration of tests to the specific needs of each patient while staying within the standardized procedures set forth for each specific test.
- Ensures that patients referred to the division for testing are seen in a timely manner.
- Provide a written summary of the patient’s behavior during testing, including interactions with the patient’s parents or peers that may be observed incidentally.
- Review and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and availability and security of information.
- Understands, adheres to and models Core Standards as defined organizationally and specifically within the department/unit.
Qualifications:
- Psychology Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working in a mental health setting preferred.
- Experience or training in standardized neuropsychological and psychological testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent collaborative skills in work with staff, students and families.
- Excellent skills in assessment, data collection and interpretation.
- Demonstration of high ethical standards.
Compensation for Psychometrist:
- Salary starting at $45,000 to 52,000 per year.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Additional salary for Licensed Psychological Associates or those that are licensed eligible (Up to 75,00 per year)
