About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at the YMCA of Northern Colorado. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swim lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality swim lessons that cater to the needs of our members
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with members, parents, and staff to ensure a seamless experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Experience teaching swim lessons or previous competitive swimming experience is preferred
  • Proficient swimming and safety/rescue skills
  • Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful demeanor
  • Blood Borne Pathogens Training within 30 days of being hired
  • YMCA Swimming Lessons Instructor and Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certifications are preferred

Compensation

Posted Salary Range: USD $22.50 /Hr.
