Position: Low Voltage Cabling Specialist
Salary: $18 - $25 per hour, based on experience
Crewforce is seeking experienced Low Voltage Cabling Specialists with a minimum of 2 years in the field, particularly in commercial settings. We are looking for candidates who are skilled in low voltage cable installation and are ready to contribute to our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Installing and managing CAT 5, CAT 6, and CAT6A cabling in new commercial constructions.
- Terminating communication jacks and organizing distribution frames, including 66 or 110 blocks and patch panels.
- Setting up support structures such as ladders, racks, and j-hooks.
- Proven experience in low voltage and structured cabling installations within a commercial environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards including BICSI, EIA, TIA, and NEC.
- Experience with rack and stack operations, including server racks and patch panels.
- Familiarity with fiber optics, including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret schematic and line diagrams effectively.
- Possession of essential telecom tools such as punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, and personal protective equipment.
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $25, depending on experience.
- Weekly payment schedule.
