About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Reserve (Michigan). As a key member of our Service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality and beverage expertise to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests at the bar, ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Expertise in Beverages: Demonstrate sound knowledge of specialty and classic cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage offerings, with the ability to suggest pairings.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain fluency in all menu items and ingredients, with the ability to answer questions from guests and support the team on the floor.
  • Service Standards: Follow proper steps of service with grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the seating area.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff members, management, and the kitchen during service.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two or more years' experience as a Bartender or beverage service role, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant bar or bar environment.
  • Passion for Beverages: Passion for wine, spirits, beer, and N/A beverages.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, walk up and down stairs, and balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks, and/or glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
