Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mixology Expert to join our team at Charlestowne Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, crafting signature cocktails, and offering recommendations on our local craft beers and wines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and Serve Beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to our guests.
- Interact with Guests: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks.
- Assess Guest Needs: Assess guests' needs and preferences and make recommendations on our beverage menu.
- Mix and Prepare Cocktails: Mix and prepare cocktails to our guests' specifications, using a variety of ingredients and techniques.
- Plan and Present Bar Menu: Plan and present our bar menu, including specials and promotions.
- Restock and Replenish Inventory: Restock and replenish our bar inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have everything we need to provide exceptional service.
- Comply with Regulations: Comply with all food and beverage regulations, including those related to serving age and responsible serving practices.
- Provide Excellent Service: Provide exceptional service to our guests, including checking in with them to ensure their satisfaction and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Embody a Strong Work Ethic: Embody a strong and efficient work ethic, including keeping a clean and tidy work area and maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Adhere to Cash Handling Policies: Adhere to our cash handling policies, including accurately processing transactions and handling cash and credit card payments.
- Participate in Inventory and Par Levels: Participate in inventory and par level management, ensuring that we have the right amount of stock on hand to meet our guests' needs.
Requirements
- Excellent Knowledge of Mixology: Excellent knowledge of mixology, including the art of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use our point-of-sale system and other technology.
- Positive Attitude and Excellent Communication Skills: A positive attitude and excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to Keep the Bar Organized: The ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean, including maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Relevant Training Certificate: A relevant training certificate, such as a bartending certification.
