About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our Cardiovascular Diagnostic team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with complex ultrasound procedures to visualize internal cardiac structures and obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricles, and left atrium.
  • Operate and maintain advanced diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Sonography/Ultrasound tech/Radiography educational program.
  • ARDCS or CCI Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification preferred; required within one to two years of hire.
  • Ultrasound experience in echocardiography - One to two years preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
