Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our team at North Wind. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders to prepare scopes of services and fee proposals for projects.
  • Provide scheduling, budgeting, design scope, quality control, and supervision of project engineers, design engineers, and engineering technicians.
  • Review scopes of services and desired deliverables for each project and develop task lists and schedules.
  • Manage project schedules and flow of information among design teams and subconsultants.
  • Coordinate research of county records and other public sources to obtain necessary project data for design purposes.
  • Review and approve preliminary design drawings and design development.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare written work requests and requests for proposals for all information needed by subconsultants.
  • Manage project teams and ensure project completeness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
  • Experience and success preparing design calculations and design documents.
  • Ability to delegate tasks to others, design all components of a project, and manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage use of time both personally and for team members.
  • Proficient with civil design software, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater design programs.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, strong verbal communications and technical writing skills, and proven ability to communicate with internal and external project team members.
