  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop effective plans of care in collaboration with the nursing team and other disciplines.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and delegate patient care responsibilities to staff while supervising their implementation.
  • Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Establish realistic patient goals and interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing. A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required, with a minimum of two years of experience in long-term care nursing and one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity preferred. BSN is preferred, and you must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license.
