Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor and stockroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
- Assist with receiving inventory shipments, stocking shelves, and rotating products to ensure freshness and quality.
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS, including scanning merchandise, handling cash and credit transactions, and reporting discrepancies.
- Participate in the inventory and cycle count process, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing shrinkage.
- Assist with price changes, opening and closing duties, and other tasks as assigned by management.
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
- Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
- Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency utilizing general office equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level is moderate, and physical interaction with customers is required. The job requires standing, walking, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds, as well as pushing and pulling carts and equipment.
This part-time position is ineligible for benefits. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is $17.69. This role is also eligible for overtime compensation.
