We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and airway management.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their respiratory function.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
- Document patient care activities and charges in the hospital EMR system.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
- Licensed in the state of Massachusetts in respiratory care.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers (BLSHP).
- Maintenance of CEUs in accordance with the regulation of licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
