Job Summary

Banknote Corp of America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting our company properties, employees, and assets by patrolling buildings and grounds, providing protective escorts, and monitoring security camera systems and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect company properties, employees, and assets by patrolling buildings and grounds, providing protective escorts, and monitoring security camera systems and access control systems.
  • Respond to safety and security calls, and monitor compliance of safety and security regulations as outlined by OSHA, State and Federal guidelines.
  • Provide traffic control and parking enforcement when necessary, and work with various types of safety and security electronic equipment.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form, and handle confidential information in a sensitive manner.
Requirements
  • One year of security or equivalent experience required, including 6 months as an armed officer.
  • At least 21 years of age required, and CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
  • High School diploma is required and 2 years of college preferred, and military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and basic understanding of access control, CCTV, firefighting equipment, and first aid equipment required.
Work Schedule

Full-time, must have availability to work nights and weekends, and be flexible and work in a continuously changing environment.
