Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pulmonologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Oklahoma City. As a Pulmonary Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in inpatient and outpatient care, and contributing to the education and supervision of trainees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient care related to pulmonary diseases, disorders, and critical care diseases.
  • Participate in the education and supervision of trainees, including medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality care initiatives, including patient safety and quality improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Participate in research and academic activities, including the development of research protocols, data analysis, and publication of research findings.
Requirements
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the United States.
  • Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine or Board eligibility with a strong commitment to pursuing certification.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical data and make informed decisions.
