KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations set forth by the company and OSHA standards.

  • Foster a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and direct the construction activities from initial concept through to completion in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage and organize workforce, materials, equipment, budgets, timelines, contracts, and employee safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and promptly eliminate or mark outdated documents to prevent accidental usage.
  • Assess and determine suitable construction techniques and the most economical plans and schedules.
  • Confirm that material traceability is upheld during fabrication to meet project specifications.
  • Supervise the delivery and utilization of materials, tools, and equipment; ensuring quality construction, workforce efficiency, and safety standards.
  • Acquire all essential permits and licenses and, depending on contractual agreements, oversee compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage construction expenses against the project budget to prevent financial overruns.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, including owners, contractors, vendors, architects, and engineers to oversee and synchronize all aspects of the construction project.
  • Document any product nonconformance identified during assigned tasks and report findings to the Project Engineer.
  • Engage in and review Job Safety and Environmental Analyses (JSEA) and all other Safety, Health, and Environmental processes.
  • Perform behavioral-based safety observations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Offshore Construction Manager.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of safety processes and practices.
  • Ability to mentor and guide new team members.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication abilities.
  • Possession of a TWIC card.
