Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Trade Coordinator to join our team at FedEx Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for the entry of goods into the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate customs documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations and requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Classify goods accurately and obtain correct customs release from databases, SOPs, tariff books, and internet resources.
  • Process import-related documentation and handle PGA submissions.
  • Maintain accurate shipment documentation and adhere to record-keeping requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with international importing and exporting regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal staff, departments, and external partners to deliver high-quality service to customers.
  • Process agency brokerage shipments and handle remote filings.
  • Ensure adherence to government and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • No industry experience necessary, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience preferred.
  • Strong data entry and keyboard skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to use multiple systems and reference materials.
Work Environment

This is a 100% onsite position located at 3885 Airways Blvd, Memphis, TN.
