Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, your essential duties will include:

  • Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems.
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, determining root causes, and implementing effective repair solutions.
  • Performing repairs, replacements, and adjustments of faulty components to ensure equipment operates according to safety standards.
  • Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and managing spare parts inventory.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting regular safety checks.
  • Providing training to warehouse staff on equipment usage and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborating with supervisors to develop maintenance schedules and strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancing equipment performance and recommending improvements.
  • Liaising with suppliers and service providers for repairs and equipment upgrades.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to warehouse equipment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze technical issues.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
Working Conditions:

This role requires:

  • The ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights.
  • Flexibility to work in various temperatures and humidity levels.
  • Availability for Monday to Friday shifts, with 'on call' repairs as necessary.
