Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours on Thursdays until 6 PM.
Position Details: The selected Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will employ advanced health assessment techniques, clinical knowledge, and decision-making abilities. Responsibilities include working autonomously as well as in partnership with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role focuses on delivering healthcare to individuals and families, prioritizing health promotion and disease prevention across all age groups. Exceptional customer service skills are essential for fostering positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient load of approximately 8 to 12 individuals daily, encompassing both adult and pediatric cases;
100% clinic-based responsibilities. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including one additional part-time Physician Assistant, three LPNs/CMA, two RNs, and one Physician.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in pediatrics, family medicine, and ideally, allergy/asthma care.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
- Licensure and Certifications:
- Current registered nurse licensure in Minnesota.
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Minnesota.
- Current CPR certification.
- National certification in the relevant specialty area.
