Aircraft Egress Systems Specialist

M1 Support Services is seeking a skilled Aircraft Egress Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Egress Specialist, you will be responsible for performing aircraft egress systems repair and maintenance tasks under technical guidance and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform egress systems repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with senior egress personnel as required.
  • Perform maintenance and inspections of aircraft egress systems.
  • Conduct tests of harnesses after cleaning or repair.
  • Perform system troubleshooting tasks.
  • Perform operational checks of assigned systems.
  • Annotate maintenance actions in aircraft records and maintain knowledge of CAMS documentation.
  • Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness, and safety at all times.
Requirements:
  • A working knowledge of aircraft egress systems and associated schematic diagrams, charts, and drawings.
  • Knowledge of applicable technical orders, related publications, and safety regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Specialized courses in egress systems maintenance desired.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Minimum of two years recent experience in aircraft egress system maintenance and completion of a basic egress system maintenance course.
