Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Planner/Scheduler to join our Planning and Scheduling team at BWXT's Mt. Vernon, IN facility. This role is pivotal in crafting long-term plans and capacity strategies to facilitate our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive business production forecasts spanning over two years.
• Create and manage capacity planning data and analytical tools for operational reviews.
• Identify manpower and work center constraints proactively, both in the short and long term.
• Construct various scenarios for current and future contract proposals, aligning with business objectives through advanced modeling techniques.
• Generate and present business metrics and reports.
• Adjust program planning and scheduling objectives as needed based on overall performance and unexpected constraints.
• Conduct hours analysis to support load board generation and verification.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a Business-related field.
• At least six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and technical capabilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet objectives in a challenging environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting and mentor team members.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and accurate.
• Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with no dual citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP-PP/DS or similar MRP systems.
• Familiarity with ProModel/Shipyard AI.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Proficiency in Power BI.

The anticipated salary range for this position in Indiana is between $62,000.00 and $109,000.00 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on local market conditions and the candidate's qualifications, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
