About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Banking Services Representative to join our team at the Willow Bend Banking Center in Plano, TX. In this role, you'll provide personalized banking services, promote products, and achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This full-time position requires 40 hours/week with flexibility to work Monday-Friday (8:15 AM - 5:30 PM) and Saturdays (8:15 AM - 1:30 PM).
Responsibilities:
- Offer full-service banking services to new and existing customers, focusing on sales and service.
- Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently within authorized limits and perform other customer-facing duties.
- Open accounts, update information, issue ATM cards, originate/close consumer loans, and resolve client concerns.
- Execute the sales discovery process and manage relationships.
- Assess client needs and make recommendations for suitable banking solutions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by providing extensive, personalized service tailored to individual needs.
- Support retail objectives/initiatives to capitalize on business opportunities influencing revenue and risk.
- Perform all duties in compliance with laws, regulations, and bank policies/procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, banking, sales, or related fields.
- Prior experience in financial sales roles with knowledge of consumer lending processes preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of banking products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment options.
- Sales skills and experience to identify opportunities, achieve targets, and effectively cross-sell products.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address client needs, inquiries, and issues effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills to influence clients and persuade them to consider suitable banking solutions.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
