Aircraft Assembly and Fabrication Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Assembly and Fabrication Technician to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. As an Aircraft Assembly and Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of operations to manufacture, assemble, and/or refurbish aircraft parts and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sheet metal assembly and fabrication operations, including aligning parts on jigs and using controlled tooling.
  • Measure parts to verify dimensions and perform part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, and drilling.
  • Modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs.
  • Work from blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor and verify quality and develop corrective action as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of sheet metal assembly/aircraft sheet metal structure experience required.
  • Previous experience as an Assembler and/or Aircraft Structures Mechanic highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data.
