Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare aircraft surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and treating with anti-corrosion chemical treatments.
  • Apply finish coatings and low observable materials to aircraft surfaces, including fastener and gap filler installation.
  • Use precision measuring instruments and tools to ensure accurate and precise coating applications.
  • Monitor and verify quality with statistical process control procedures.
  • Input data as required and perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • 3 years of relevant experience in composite laminate layup and/or applying primer, low observable, and topcoat materials.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and work order software such as Solumina.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous knowledge or experience using low observable materials.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
