L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and talented Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Specialist to join our EMI electrical design engineering core group. As a member of our team, you will be part of a diverse multi-disciplined team of engineers operating in a highly agile environment using the latest tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop procedures, reports, and execute various EMI and power quality test activities for a multitude of systems ranging from submersible to space platforms.
  • Support niche fields related to Power Variation (MIL-STD-704), Multipaction, Corona Discharge, and TEMPEST on products being developed throughout L3Harris.
  • Perform EMI Qualification test campaigns on cutting-edge programs.
  • Coordinate test and verify EMI design requirements with teammates, customers, and system architects through the qualification and sustainment of various L3 Harris systems.
  • Develop test procedures, and test reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Engineering Physics Technology and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain US DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Professional experience with electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding and filtering.
  • Professional experience with RF and measurement instrumentation such as receivers, antennas, analyzers and amplifiers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • US DoD Secret Security Clearance preferred.
  • International Association for Radio Telecommunications and Electromagnetics (iNARTE) EMI/EMC engineer certification.
