At AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Specialist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients.

About the Role

This 13-week contract position is based in Silver City, NM, and offers a competitive salary of $1,995/35-hours (travel) or $1,967/35-hours (local).

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Review medical histories and collaborate with healthcare colleagues to understand patient needs.
  • Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Establish specific goals for rehabilitation or recovery.
  • Design Customized Exercise Programs: Improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Provide Hands-On Techniques: Enhance mobility and pain relief using joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and manual stretching.
  • Apply Modalities: Ease pain, reduce inflammation, and aid tissue healing using ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold therapy.
  • Guide Assistive Device Use: Improve mobility with crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Conditions, treatment plans, and injury prevention related to body mechanics and ergonomics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid and Active Physical Therapy State License
  • CPR and BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED)
