Job Summary

Saint Mary's University of Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head Women's Hockey Coach to lead our NCAA Division III program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program that provides a competitive, unique, and memorable collegiate athletic experience for student-athletes.
  • Recruit academically and athletically qualified student-athletes within the scope of MIAC, NCAA, and university guidelines.
  • Monitor team and individual academic success and degree completion.
  • Maintain a program compliant with NCAA, MIAC, and university rules and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with athletic alumni, high school and club coaches, and benefactors.
  • Partner with the development office to raise funds for the program.
  • Oversee all necessary administrative responsibilities for the program, including budget management.
Requirements
  • Relevant bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with competitive coaching at the high school, collegiate, and/or club level required.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Highly effective recruiting skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with athletic conference peers and officials.
  • Uphold the marketing brand and positive image of Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
