Bista is a prominent non-profit organization specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. With a commitment to enhancing community services, Bista has been a trusted provider in Arizona for over 15 years, recently expanding its offerings to include additional therapeutic services.

Role Summary:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will deliver evidence-based ABA interventions and oversee the treatment of assigned clients. Responsibilities encompass conducting behavioral assessments, developing and implementing ABA programs, providing parent training, and offering consultation services to schools and staff. The position requires maintaining an average of 25 billable hours per week, with approximately 15 hours dedicated to essential non-billable activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • BCBA or BACB-D Certification
  • Arizona State Licensure
  • Safety Care (QBS) Training (provided by Bista)
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card (provided by Bista)
  • Valid Arizona driver's license and personal vehicle for travel
  • Successful completion of background checks and human performance evaluations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and supervise skill acquisition programs and behavioral assessments.
  • Provide training and feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians and Interns.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Develop program goals and protocols, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Deliver direct services as needed to maintain consistent ABA schedules.
  • Analyze client data to inform program adjustments.
  • Ensure timely communication and documentation of client progress.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Assist in overseeing direct service staff and their performance evaluations.
  • Support the BACB certification process for supervisees.

Billing and Documentation:

  • Maintain a caseload of 25 billable hours per week.
  • Conduct parent training for all managed cases.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state regulations.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of ABA methodologies and positive behavior support.
  • Proficient in conducting assessments and analyzing behavioral data.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing client needs and work environments.
