Snelling - Birmingham is seeking a highly organized and professional Network Provider Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the development and maintenance of our PPO network, including new provider identification, solicitation, and rate negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and expand our PPO network by identifying and soliciting new providers, negotiating rates, and maintaining existing relationships.
- Assist in conducting provider orientations, including individual and regional training sessions.
- Serve as a liaison with treatment providers, clients, and patients, resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Recommend revisions to PPO contract forms and rates as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing marketing and provider relations efforts.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of provider relations experience, preferably in a PPO/HMO or similar setting.
- Experience in managed care and PPO environments.
- Experience with fiscal issues, rate negotiations, and contractual terms.
