- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care with a focus on comprehensive assessments and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Maintain a clean and therapeutic environment, ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available.
- Assist with patient admission and prepare patients for procedures, promoting a smooth and efficient process.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate patient needs effectively.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrate strong computer skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in patient records.
- Maintain composure and self-control in challenging situations, providing calm and professional care.
- Ability to follow and implement nursing interventions, evaluating patient condition and making necessary adjustments.
- Compliance with facility policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of patient care.
- Effective communication skills for collaborative nursing, working seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and patient conditions, adapting to emerging needs.
- Education and Experience:
- Hold a college degree or an Associate Degree in Nursing, with a strong foundation in nursing principles.
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in a peri-operative and inpatient environment, with a focus on patient-centric care.
- Registered Nurse in the State of Texas with an active and unencumbered license, adhering to state and facility regulations.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, ensuring proficiency in life-saving techniques and patient care.
