ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee assigned retail marketing initiatives for hardware, software, accessories, product launches, promotional sales offers, and campaign strategies.
  • Direct the production and development of point-of-purchase (POP) signage utilized in retail environments.
  • Provide merchandising guidance to Nintendo Brand Ambassadors and third-party teams.
  • Offer creative direction and brand standards, conducting creative reviews on retailer-implemented in-store and online tactics, including but not limited to onsite banners, in-store signage, online brand pages, full-page flyers, and seasonal promotions.
  • Manage retail marketing projects from inception to completion, collaborating with design teams, communicating with vendors, tracking budgets, coordinating shipping and receiving, overseeing installation directions, and reporting on outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal Nintendo stakeholders, National Account Managers, and retailers to execute innovative in-store retail initiatives, semi-permanent branding opportunities, and online retail projects.
  • Communicate with internal departments, vendors, external partners, and senior leadership regarding project progress, timelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead the comprehensive creation and management of giveaways, gifts with purchases, and consumer handouts (brochures/flyers).
  • Procure and develop essential in-store display materials to support product launches and ongoing sales, including title sheets, display boxes, and empty cases.
  • Create requisitions for retail projects and activities, managing the complete purchase order process.
  • Monitor and track all campaign budgets and expenditures for launches and below-the-line activities.
  • Act as a liaison between Nintendo Latin America (NLA) and internal Nintendo of America (NOA) stakeholders, including Consumer Marketing, Design, Retail, Legal, Finance, Licensing, and Product Development teams.
  • Oversee daily activities for multiple external agencies, including creative, media planning, and trade-level/Point of Sale (POS) as required.
