Emergency Transport Driver Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance to make a positive impact on the organ transplant community, especially for individuals currently working non-traditional shifts and those who have retired.

About the Role

We are actively recruiting part-time professionals for our team in Spokane, WA. As an Emergency Vehicle Driver, you will transport medical teams, organs, tissues, tissue donors, and supplies using NORA vehicles for both emergent and non-emergent organ procurement transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport medical teams, organs, tissues, tissue donors, and supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience driving a police, fire, or ambulance vehicle with emergency red lights and sirens.
  • Current or past police officers, firefighters, or career EMS workers only.
  • 24-hour on-call shifts.
  • Minimum age of 25.
  • Must live within 30-35 minutes of Spokane.
  • Clear criminal background check.
  • Clear state driving record verified through DMV, reviewed annually.
  • Successful completion of initial and random drug testing.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:

  • 24-hour shifts with 2-3 shifts per week.
  • Daily On-Call Rate: $60.00.
  • Standby pay.
  • Opportunities to work weekends and holidays.
