Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations effectively.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure the availability and reliability of both hardware and software.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, including backups, patch management, and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows-based infrastructure services efficiently.
  • Implement and uphold security best practices, including antivirus, firewall, and access control measures.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT or health information exchange environments.
  • Proficiency with NetApp OnTap, HP Primera 20850, HP Lefthand Centralized Management Console, HP Storage Essentials, and HP SN8700 Fiber Channel director switch.
  • Experience with Commvault backups, Snapshots, and snapclones.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
  • Experience with VA Health Portfolio and Informatics Product Line is advantageous.
  • Experience in Data Integration Modernizations and Secure Messaging is beneficial.
  • Team-oriented contributor with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A background in the Department of Veterans Affairs is essential.
