We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fleet Technician II to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles, including inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Work with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for maintenance and repair.
- 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in heavy duty truck maintenance and repair.
- ASE certifications in diesel engines and transmission repair.
